Google Places Optimisation

Are You Missing Out On FREE Online Advertising?

Google Places

Many business owners are not even aware that they most likely have a Google Places listing already. The problem is Google collects the basic information form Yellow Pages and other similiar directories and that information could be outdated.

That's the reason Google allows the business owner to claim that listing and then be given the option to edit the listing and add a ton of extra information into that listing.

If you want to find out if your business has been listed the best way is to search for your business name and address on Google Maps.

Your business should appear in the results to the left of the map if it has been listed. If you can't find it, that usually means that your business listing is probably not even in the Yellow Pages or other directories, either that or the information is inaccurate or out of date.

If your business has been listed, then you will see a more info link, click on that link to see the details being shown for the location, and then select the option that says 'Business Owner?' at the top right of the listing. You will need a Google Account to sign-in or if you don't have one it is simple to set one up. Once that has been done, you can edit the information or add any new content.

The secret to getting good Google Places rankings is to make sure your listing is 100% complete. Find out how to set up your listing for better results, read more... or if you want help because you're not sure how to do this please contact us now on 0419 606 942 or 02 4578 5983.
